Mennonite Early Childhood Network
The mission of the Mennonite Early Childhood Network (MECN) is to assist in developing the whole child spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively within a framework that reflects an Anabaptist interpretation* of the Christian faith by providing information and resources for parents and educators of all children, birth through kindergarten. Contributors to Building Faith
Talashia Keim Yoder is Pastor of Christian Formation at College Mennonite Church in Goshen, IN. Talashia also is the theater director for Bethany Christian High School. She is the parent of two boys, ages 11 and 14. In her church work and in her home, she is passionate about finding ways to help children build faith in ways that engage all their senses and can provide a foundation as they grow. Talashia provides content for each month's entry. She is a graduate of Hesston College, Tabor College, and Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary.

Tami Keim directed the Early Childhood Program at Hesston College for 32 years. She has deep respect for children’s spirituality and ability to help the rest of us learn about God. Tami is the webmaster, assures that activities and topics are developmentally appropriate, and provides additional resources and notes. Tami is a graduate of Hesston College, Central Michigan University, and Kansas State University.

Luisa Zehr is a retired teacher and interpreter. She grew up in Puerto Rico where she attended and taught at Academia Menonita Betania. She lives in Goshen, IN with her husband Eric. They have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. She has worked as a bilingual receptionist for La Casa Inc. in Goshen, as an English Language Learners teacher for Goshen Schools, and as a medical interpreter for Hispanics at Goshen Hospital. She enjoys traveling, walking, reading, and volunteering as an interpreter for Hispanic patients at Center for Healing and Hope Clinic in Goshen. Luisa provides the Spanish translation for Building Faith.
